Commercial Fire and Water Damage

When a fire broke out in a building for a Nonprofit Organization in Georgia it caused large amounts of damage to the ceiling, but when the sprinkler system turned on to help put out the fire it caused further damage to the flooring of the building. SERVPRO of Decatur came in and initially cleaned up all of the fallen debris caused by the fire and then made sure to extract the water from the hardwood floors. Our team also went ahead and treated all affected areas with antimicrobial treatment and placed dehumidifiers around the room.

After the initial stages of the mitigation process were finished, the crew began removing wood paneling, particle board panels, and insulation from the ceiling. The crew continued to work with the building owner in order to get the place looking “Like it never even happened.”
